OK, here are the character sheets as promised. I will post them all in separate threads, so you can request any changes privately. I got sidetracked during the experience adding phase, so some sheets may not be totally updated. You can, of course, view the sheets themselves after they have been uploaded to HeroCentral by clicking on the appropriate link next to your character on the Player's Page.
When you upload the HDZ file to HeroCentral (on the User Prefs page), make sure that you also select the correct "Character Display Template". It should be "HTML - Savage Earth Character Sheet". This box is just above all of the font and color display settings. This part is essential to make sure that your Morphia, Anima and Psyche scores display.

Hopefully all of these files will transfer across platforms and browsers without problem. For those (if any) using a Mac, do not use the Mac version of Internet Explorer to do your uploads. This is not an issue under Windows.

For those of you who own HeroDesigner, here is the extensions template that adds these characteristics, as well as a lot of Savage Earth skills and powers.

Barbara, call me if you need any guidance on this. The file itself will be gibberish on your computer. It will only operate properly once uploaded.

Yours was fairly straightforward, but it was one of the first I did. Let me know if there is anything amiss. Also, remember, it's worth XP to provide all the background info.

I'm guessing that is a hint for me to coalesce more background information.

I don't know if you can tell, Keith, but I'm fairly swamped with RL. It is slowing my posts significantly. As always, I love Riccoco and the Savage Earth setting. After this week, I'm hoping I can become a stronger poster.

Thanks for making the game great. I hope I haven't been to troublesome of a player!

Make mine Savage!

Actually, RL has been kicking my behind lately. My own posts have slowed to a trickle. On the plus side, I should have my first COVER! done as you read this. My first fully digital painting, discounting the one I did for Digital Hero a while back. Now I just have a zillion maps to do...

Thanks for showing patience on your side as well.

Background Info
By: Riccoco

APPEARANCE
Riccoco is a Beast, Racoon by species. He's anthropomorphic going almost solely on his hind legs. His fur is representative of Raccoons, striped fur, darkish brown to black and a light grey white. The darker mask about his eyes and running along his muzzle is tinged with grey tips, showing his age.

He's often seen with a leather vest, leather diaper, and a wide belt bearing a couple of pouches. By choice, he bears a trident, the forks reaching above his diminutive height. he bears a eating knife in his belt and a dirk strapped to one chunky thigh.

BACKGROUND
Background: Riccoco has always been a schemer. Even as a young cub, he was often punished for trying to get more fish, or get out of his chores. His methods only continued into his adolescent years. Eventually, they went too far and the [Head Raccoon] thought it might be best if he didn't stay on at Raccoon Lake. Riccoco wasn't pleased about his... exile but, went about his business as he's always done. He'd been a little curious about Tallon and the area surrounding the Saber. He'd made a few contacts with Traveller's passing through and the peddlers doing occasional trade with the Raccoon community.

He used these skills and his ideas to earn a meager living. Eventually, this lead to his allowance back to Raccoon Lake, but, only as a travelling peddler. He brought valuable information as well as occasional goods and exotic spices from his travels up and down the Saber. Oft times, his plots dealt with smuggling to bypass tariffs and an occasional heist. He's never actually been caught, but, word gets around and his goings on and created an added stigma for him in more law abiding locations.

It has further come out that Riccoco took to travelling after first being banished from his Bray in Raccoon Lake. He has since regained entrance to the Bray, but has chosen to take to a traveling life in order to gain wealth enough to return and take the hand of his beloved Chukichiis as mate.

He was seemingly chased from Tallon by Dobies under the employ of one of the Merchants of Tallon.

PERSONALITY
Riccoco is generously a good soul though his avarice causes him some trouble. He shies away from any lethal robberies and would much prefer avoiding conflict of any sort. He'll try and talk himself out of any situation before fleeing. He'll only fight if cornered or no other way seems available.

He's relatively loyal and curious, though, these are more traits of Raccoons as a whole than his individuality.

He considers himself old and wise from the many trevails of his life. This natural feeling about his life and his Trading capriciousness plasters a knowing grin on his features at nearly all times. Having been bereft of a family for quite a while, Ricco has striven to finally be accepted in the Caravan. This is shown by his loyalty and ability to overcome his own cowardice when his friends have been harmed or threatened.

Riccoco has a reverse prejudice versus humans. Though, he hasn't had unbearable business dealings with them, he wasn't prepared for the changes within the Archons cities compared to the Sabre Valley where folks were judged by their actions and not their race.

QUOTE
"By the Toad's Hairy Goat!"

POWERS/TACTICS
When forced into a fight, Riccoco's main objective is not getting hit. He does bear a diminutive trident that he is capable of using. He'll often tumble from target to target, always on the move and stabbing out with his trident at opportune moments.

Combat is not an unknown art among the Raccoon's of Raccoon Lake. Ricco has further worked on his martial skills during his Skiffing along the Saber. He'd still rather talk or scheme his way out of a fight, but if forced into it, he's proven himself as a skilled combatant, familiar with most common weapons.

Riccoco favors the protection of supple leather which doesn't infringe on his quick, acrobatic movements. When combat is impending, he's been given a leather hauberk by the soldiers of Fort Lizard. "When war be comin' no sense bein' undressed."

CAMPAIGN_USE
I give my esteemable free reign with Riccoco. Push his avarice and cowardice to the limits. I'm very interested in the current subplot putting Ricco at possible odds with Sangiyok and the Brewer's Guild of Tallon.

I'd like to further investigate the reason for the Dobies in the Night Folk caves and learn more about the smuggling aspects of Tallon. I'm also extremely interested in the lore of the Savage Earth as a whole. I really like learning about the Land as we go. Even if Riccoco isn't exactly the most interested, his player certainly is!

Eventually, I think I might like to see the Caravan stop off at Raccoon Lake, meeting some of the characters I've created for Ricco's background. Using some of the skills I purchased to aid the Caravan would also be a welcom tangent.

This was the one that took the most work, since I wanted all the adept stuff to be in an extensions template. Also, did you ever re-send your background info? There was no attachment to your e-mail.

I see a file in your main thread, and I see one in my thread. I do not have Hero Designer. I try to click on each of these files, but with no ability to view. The main thread file looks like something in an html designer program (i.e., a bunch of code), while my character thread file asks me for a program to open it with - what should I choose?

If you don't have HeroDesigner, ignore the .hdt file.
The hdz file contains your character.
Just save the hdz file as is. Don't open it with anything. The file itself will be gibberish on your computer. It will only operate properly once uploaded. Just re-upload it on the prefs page of HeroCentral. HeroCentral will render the file into a character sheet.
You can only view it once it has been uploaded.
