Description: |
Persia is short and lithe. She has a dark coat fading to white muzzle and front. She is an extremely humanoid beast, even more so than her mother. She does not wear shoes or sandles. She takes pride in her appearance and grooms often.
Persia is a Tallonite born and bred. A child of the city, she is intimately familiar with its streets, rooftops alleys and sewers. Abandoned by her mother at the threshold of maturity, she was forced to learn to survive by her wits. She used her natural talents to pursue the life of a thief, though she chooses her targets carefully, never stealing from those who cannot afford it, and usually trying to steal from those who deserve it. She learned after being captured once that her mother had been a personal friend of the Archon. Although she had given vague hints that this was so, she had never brought Persia to meet him. The Archon has used his influence on several occasions to soften the consequences of or to pardon Persia's extralegal activities. She realizes that there may well be limits on his beneficence.
Eventually, Persia discovered that her mother had gone on an exploratory mission with the father of Gilead. Mranda was one of the last survivors of the quest. Persia rescued her, but learned that Mranda had developed a socially daming relationship with Hadrian, father of Gilead. For this reason, Mranda told Persia she would not return to Tallon. In reality, Mranda was implicaed in the accidental death of a relative of a Grandmistrees of Tallon, and fears retribution. Since she fear that the vengeance may be visited upon her daughter, she has not told Persia this, afraid that if whe knew, the secret might be uncovered by a probe.
Persia has a full range of cat-like behavior, of course. She is independant, graceful and loves comfort. She also has a sense of social justice. She used steals to benefit the downtrodden (with a hefty cut for herself, of course), but of late, has attempted to lead a more respectable existence. She has made true friends and would not wish to embarass them with extralegal activities. Also from them she has learned the rewards of a more honorable life.

Persia is exceptionally quick and agile. She uses this to her benefit in combat, using acrobatic maneuvers when possible. She is a skilled sword-wielder and uses a rapier or short sword when possible. When armed with her mother's spirit sword, enhanced by Archon Ningan himself, she is amazingly deadly. She also depends on her heightened sense to warn her of danger.
Persia has good senses and is a talented combatant. She also has a fair degree of respect from the older beasts of Tallon who might remember her mother's work as a freedom fighter in the last yeasr of the reign of Kanukka the Red.
